MAKE BLACK AMERICA GREAT AGAIN Initiative
What does MAKE BLACK AMERICA GREAT AGAIN mean?
Prior to The New Deal of the 1930s, Black America in the 1920s 2-parent households stood at 85%, we relied on communities of Black doctors, lawyers, teachers, store owners, landowners, oil barons, etc, After The New Deal, these communities dwindled. Successful Black communities dwindled in epic proportions further after President Johnson's Economic Opportunity Act, a.k.a The War on Poverty, reducing Black 2-parent households to 75%, then 32% in 1991, 27% in 2011 and 23% in 2015. #MBAGA asks that we, the Black community, get back to a place when Black Americans self-govern our communities and return to a time when we were self-reliant and self-sufficient.
"While Trump's MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN platform is inclusive of the Black Community, we have an entirely different set of obstacles than America as a whole. #MBAGA attempts to address the challenges in the Black community." - Howard Nelson Cromwell, Managing Editor, The Conservative Urbanite.
